The head of the Ministry of Health Talantbek Batyraliev told the deputies of SDPK parliamentary faction about the achievements on «Den Sooluk» program for 2012–2016.

In 2016, it decreased by 17.9 percent compared to 2012, including the mortality from myocardial infarction and stroke.
«This indicates that the correct strategy of work with the population was chosen," Batyraliev said.
The achievements also include the reduction of mortality among children under five years. Kyrgyzstan ranks among the countries that have achieved this Millennium Development Goal.
In 2016, the infant mortality rate is 8.4 percent lower than in 2015, and 15.8 percent less than in 2012.
The maternal mortality rate in 2016 decreased compared to 2012 by 40.2 percent. The level of TB morbidity and mortality also decreased.
