Nobody to invest in power industry of Kyrgyzstan with present tariffs

Nobody will invest in the power industry of Kyrgyzstan with the present low electricity tariffs. Resident Representative of the International Monetary Fund in Kyrgyzstan Yahia Said told.

According to him, only Venezuela has lower than in Kyrgyzstan electricity tariffs. And everyone knows the state of the economy in this country.

He added that the low electricity tariffs are an advantage only for the business development. But no one will invest in the energy sector.
