Deputy of Parliament Almambet Shykmamatov is interrogated by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) since 10.00 a.m.
His colleagues — members of Ata Meken Aida Salyanova, Kanybek Imanaliev and Natalya Nikitenko — after a rally in support of Almambet Shykmamatov in front of the building intend to seek a meeting with the head of GKNB Abdil Segizbayev in order he to explain the grounds why the people’s deputy is interrogated for six hours without a break.
It is a violation of the Criminal Procedure Code rules. The interrogation may not last more than four hours.

Recall, a criminal case was opened against Almambet Shykmamatov. He is charged with corruption and fraud.
