Bishkek residents start saving electricity

At least 44.2 million kilowatt-hours of electricity or 11.6 percent have been saved in Bishkek in January. Press service of Severelectro JSC reported.

According to it, in January, all consumers of Severelectro have saved 81.8 million kilowatt-hours of electricity, or 10.1 percent of the plan. They totally consumed 722.8 million kilowatt-hours for a month. However, it is still 56 million kilowatt-hours more than it had been consumed for the same period of 2016.

Bishkek residents consumed about 336.1 million of the planned 380.3 million kilowatt-hours.

Consumers of Chui region saved about 24.3 million kilowatt-hours, Talas region — 13.3 million.
