EEU countries should have equal-netback gas pricing

Representatives of state agencies and largest oil, gas companies of the Eurasian Economic Union advocated for setting equal-netback pricing for gas in the countries of the union. Press service of EEC reported.

It is noted that in the framework of creating a common gas market, it is necessary to recognize transition to the equal-netback pricing on the territory of the union beneficial. In addition, it is necessary to create an EEU interstate exchange which will provide an opportunity to trade in the overall gas market.

The criterion for supporting the market price in the Union countries will be submission by the parties of the national regulatory legal acts providing for a government regulation with ensuring the minimum return rate, and the end of state regulation of natural gas sales on the domestic market.
