Prosecutor General’s Office suspects SDPK deputy of corruption

Prosecutor General’s Office suspects MP from the Social Democratic Party Muzaffar Isakov of corruption.

According to the main supervisory body, a criminal case on grounds of crime under Article 303 (corruption) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic was initiated.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, Muzaffar Isakov as head of Tash-Bulak rural area of Suzak district, Jalal-Abad region by prior agreement with the officials of the district State Registry and Architecture Department from 2010 till 2015 issued 315 illegal decisions on the allocation of agricultural land with the total area of ​​14.34 hectares for individual housing construction.

Witnesses claim that the plots were sold at a price from 1,500 to 3,000 US dollars.

The National Security Committee was entrusted with criminal investigation.
