Kyrgyzstan again asks donors for money to provide regions with drinking water

The European Union will allocate money for the development of agriculture in the regions. Kyrgyzstan requests to spend for providing the drinking water supply, First Deputy Head of the President’s Office Sapar Isakov said today at a press conference.

According to him, during the visit of President Almazbek Atambayev to Germany and Belgium the signing of two financial agreements is expected.

Under the program of the rule of law, € 30 million will be allocated for the modernization of the legislative process. On the program of agriculture — € 72 million.

The money will go to the development of the seven regions of the country for 7 years. The first tranche provided for the Jalal-Abad oblast.

«The president asked to allocate money for providing clean drinking water to regions. It will be of great benefit to the country," Sapar Isakov said.
