Quota in Turkey. Ten Kyrgyzstanis return without surgeries

In 2016, 50 Kyrgyzstanis received an invitation for treatment in  on quota, the Ministry of Health reported.

According to the agency, 11 patients were invited to kidney transplantation, 5 — to neurosurgery, 4 — to gastroenterology, 2 — to traumatology, 4 — to cardiovascular diseases, 20 — at the ENT for cochlear implantation, 4 — to ophthalmology surgeries.

4 patients refused the invitation. At present, 34 were operated. In February 2017, it is planned to operate two citizens of the .

10 people, including those in need of a kidney and liver transplantation, returned without surgery for various reasons.

Within the framework of an agreement between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey on cooperation in the field of health, annually 100 quota on free treatment of Kyrgyz citizens in Turkish hospitals are being allocated.
