Kyrgyzstan has only 12,000 tons of petroleum products for spring field work

As of today, there are only 12,000 tons of petroleum products out of 42,000 required for spring field work. The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov said at a cabinet meeting.

According to him, readiness for spring work is not at an adequate level.

Readiness of agricultural machinery comprises only 70 percent. This figure reaches 52 percent in Jalal-Abad region and 55- in Issyk-Kul region.

There is also insufficient provision with seeds.

«In Naryn region, the farmers are provided with seeds at 77 percent, in Talas and Batken regions — at 80 percent. And only in  and regions — at 100 percent," the Prime Minister said.
