Public procurement savings exceed 9 bln soms in 2016

At least 44,070 tenders for 43.5 billion soms have been held in Kyrgyzstan in 2016 under Public Procurement law. The Minister of Finance Adylbek Kasymaliev told journalists today.

According to him, the savings amounted to 9.1 billion soms.

The Minister of Finance pointed out that the ministries and departments, local authorities, state-owned enterprises and joint-stock companies with state share of more than 50 percent fall within the scope of the law.
