Becoming co-founder of Sebat, Kyrgyzstan to complicate relations with Turkey

Becoming a co-founder of , will complicate relations with , which has recognized this international educational system a part of extremist movement, involved in the coup attempt. Chairman of country’s shadow government Marat Imankulov said.

According to him, the government has decided to make the Ministry of Education and Science one of the founders of Sebat, which brings together 16 lyceums, and international Silk Road school, 3 incomplete secondary schools, dormitories in the cities of Bishkek, , Jalal Abad. The total number of students is 12,043 people.

Shadow government believes that it would complicate the friendly relations with , which recognized Sebat as part of the extremist movement.

The decision should be reviewed before the end of the proceedings against Fethullah Gülen and his Hizmet movement.

President Almazbek Atambayev said at a press conference in December 2016, that the Ministry of Education would become the founder of «Sebat." According to him, the schools will be renamed into «Sapat» and will not be closed.
