Other 43,000 Kyrgyzstanis to be withdrawn from Russia’s black list

During 2017, it is planned to withdraw from the black list other 43,000 Kyrgyz citizens, who are banned from entering Russia. Chairman of the State Migration Service Medetbek Aidaraliev said at a meeting with the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov.

At present, the blacklist includes 110,000 Kyrgyz citizens.

One of the main problems of compatriots working abroad now is the lack of information on the rights of migrant workers and migration legislation.

To solve the problem, the State Migration Service is developing a special guide. It will include answers to the most common questions about employment in Russia and Kazakhstan.

As of today, there are more than 600,000 labor migrants from Kyrgyzstan in Russia, in Kazakhstan — more than 110,000.

Information kiosks on migration issues will be installed at Manas and Osh airports, railway and bus stations of the country until March 10.

Citizens traveling abroad will be able to get all the necessary information there, including the legal framework, governing the internal and external migration and the situation of migrant workers in the framework of country’s EEU membership.
