Start of academic year at vocational schools in Kyrgyzstan to be set separately
The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has amended the regulations governing the operation of primary vocational education institutions.
Under the resolution, the dates for the beginning and end of the academic year at vocational schools will now be determined by the authorized state body responsible for education.
The document also prohibits students from being diverted from classes to work unrelated to the educational process.
The amendments were made to the standard charter of primary vocational education institutions, approved by Cabinet Resolution No. 220 of May 8, 2024.
The Ministry of Education has been instructed to bring its regulations into line with the resolution and take the necessary measures to implement it.
Expenses related to implementing the document will be covered within the funds allocated to the Ministry of Education in the national budget, as well as from other sources not prohibited by law.
The resolution will take effect in seven days.
