Chui Avenue closed as Bishkek police prepare for garrison roll call

Preparations are underway in Bishkek for a police garrison roll call scheduled for tomorrow, August 29. As part of the preparations, traffic along central Chui Avenue has been temporarily restricted.

Dozens of official vehicles belonging to law enforcement and other security agencies have been lined up on the section between Manas Avenue and Zhusup Abdrakhmanov Street.

The closure is in effect from 8 p.m. on August 27 until noon on August 29. The restrictions are tied to preparations for the 6th World Nomad Games and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit.
