Yrys Ordo Congress Hall in Bishkek to be available for private use
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said the new Yrys Ordo Congress Hall will be used not only for government events but also made available to private individuals. He made the remarks on August 24 at the opening of the complex.
The president noted that the congress center was built entirely with state funds.
According to Japarov, Kyrgyzstan is pursuing a multi-vector foreign policy aimed at peace and mutually beneficial cooperation.
Yrys Ordo was built as a modern multifunctional congress center with a total area of more than 39,000 square meters. The complex can accommodate more than 2,000 guests. It includes a conference hall with 1,238 seats, a banquet hall with 1,000 seats, and modern meeting rooms.
Japarov said the congress center can be used to host sessions of the People’s Kurultai, meetings of heads of state, international forums and cultural events. At the same time, the complex will be open to private individuals and organizations, which will be able to use its facilities for their own events.
«The Yrys Ordo Congress Center will become a venue for major forums of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, the Collective Security Treaty Organisation, the Eurasian Economic Union and other organizations. Hosting such events will enhance Kyrgyzstan’s international standing. Our country will become a new center of international diplomacy,» Sadyr Japarov said.
The Kyrgyz president expressed gratitude to the head of the Presidential Affairs Department Kanybek Tumanbaev and all employees of the administration, as well as the architects, builders and engineers involved in the construction of the complex.
