The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has warned citizens about a new fraudulent scheme involving fake offers of assistance in obtaining preferential loans.

According to the regulator, advertisements offering help with securing low-interest loans are being circulated on social media and messaging platforms. To appear credible, fraudsters use forged documents bearing the National Bank’s logo and fake customer reviews.

The National Bank urges citizens to remain vigilant: «Do not trust such messages and under no circumstances transfer money to unknown individuals. Verify information only through official sources.»

The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic reminds citizens that it:

  • does not provide loans to individuals;
  • does not request money transfers;
  • does not send employee identification documents through messaging apps;
  • does not provide services to individuals.

If you have become a victim of fraud, immediately block your bank card and contact law enforcement authorities.
