British Ambassador completes his diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan

Nicholas Bowler, the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, has completed his diplomatic mission and delivered a farewell address summarizing the results of his three years of service in the country.

According to Nicholas Bowler, bilateral relations between the United Kingdom and Kyrgyzstan strengthened significantly during that period. Historic visits were organized, important economic agreements were reached, and Concrete Canvas entered the Kyrgyz market and began construction of a manufacturing facility.

One of his key achievements, the diplomat said, was the development of cooperation in rugby. He expressed hope that the partnership between Wales and Kyrgyzstan would continue and that Kyrgyzstan’s national team would one day compete at the Rugby World Cup.

Bowler also highlighted the success of the seasonal employment program. According to him, for the third consecutive year, more than 10,000 Kyrgyz citizens have traveled to the United Kingdom annually for seasonal work, contributing to stronger ties between the two countries.

«I am leaving with a sense of pride in what has been achieved. I will definitely return to Kyrgyzstan with my family as a guest, because this country has become a home for us. Above all, I will remember the sincere and wonderful people I met everywhere — from Talas and Batken to Sary-Chelek and Issyk-Kul. Kyrgyzstan will remain in my heart forever,» the ambassador said.

He wished the people of Kyrgyzstan prosperity and thanked everyone he had worked with during his years of service.
