From June 1 to 10, on-site inspections were conducted in Kyrgyzstan at construction sites, sewing workshops, and other facilities where foreigners are employed.
According to the State Committee for National Security, 922 reports were drawn up under Article 431 of the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic on Offenses «Violation by foreign citizens of the established procedure of stay, rules for carrying out labor activity in the Kyrgyz Republic, or transit travel.» Fines totaling 7,902 million soms were imposed.
Additionally, 24 legal entities were held liable under Article 93 of the same code, «Violation of the rules for attracting and using foreign labor in the Kyrgyz Republic.» The total fines imposed on the companies amounted to 1,285 million soms.
It was previously reported that the quota for foreign workers in Kyrgyzstan for 2026 is 52,000.
