The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan continues to monitor the sanitary and epidemiological situation in areas of Batken, Osh, and Talas regions affected by mudflows on June 19–21.
According to the ministry, sanitary and epidemiological service specialists are conducting preventive and anti-epidemic measures, disinfecting areas, and conducting laboratory testing of drinking water quality.
In Batken and Talas regions, sanitary services, together with local authorities, continue to monitor the condition of settlements, social facilities, and water sources.
The Ministry of Health emphasized that, as of June 21, the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the areas affected by the mudflows remains stable. No cases of mass infectious diseases or epidemic outbreaks have been registered.
