Bavaria urges Kyrgyzstan to develop small and medium-sized businesses

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev met with Reinhold Krämmel, Honorary Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bavaria and Thuringia, the Cabinet’s press service reported.

The parties discussed opportunities to deepen bilateral cooperation in areas such as economic relations, investment, and the organization of joint business forums.

Kasymaliev noted the steady development of cooperation within the framework of the Kyrgyz-German Business Council.

The sides agreed to hold the next meeting of the Kyrgyz-German Business Council in Kyrgyzstan in September this year and emphasized the importance of beginning work on preparing its substantive content.

During the meeting, Krämmel raised several issues, including the need to take additional measures to support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Kyrgyz Republic.

At the conclusion of the talks, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation and expanding Kyrgyzstan — Germany economic ties.
