Kyrgyzstan’s Ambassador to Malaysia to also represent country in Vietnam

President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree appointing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Malaysia, Anvar Anarbaev, as Ambassador to Vietnam concurrently.

The diplomatic mission is based in Kuala Lumpur.

Anvar Anarbaev has served as Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Malaysia since December 2023. Prior to this, he headed the Department of Foreign Policy Analysis and Planning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He is a career diplomat.

He graduated from the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University with degrees in political science and international relations. Over the years, he worked in the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focusing on foreign policy planning, international cooperation, and analytical support for the Kyrgyz Republic’s foreign policy.
