Bishkek's Old Square temporarily closed to traffic

Due to a cultural event at Turdakun Usubaliev Square (Old Square) in Bishkek, traffic will be restricted from June 5 to 8. The press service of the capital’s Patrol Police Department reported.

During this time, all types of vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from entering the square, as well as parking in the adjacent areas.

The department recommends that drivers:

• plan their routes through the city center in advance;
• take into account possible increased travel times;
• use alternative routes;
• strictly observe the instructions of police officers and road signs at restricted areas.

The department asks for understanding regarding the temporary inconvenience. The measures taken are aimed at ensuring public safety, maintaining law and order, and creating comfortable conditions for the public event.
