Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing, and Communal Services of Kyrgyzstan Nurdan Oruntaev inspected the progress of the large-scale Manas project in the village of Dostuk in Alamedin district of Chui region.
According to the ministry’s press service, construction of the national investment project—the Manas trade and logistics town—started on May 1, 2026.
The complex includes four 11-story residential buildings, low-rise residential buildings, a hotel, a shopping mall, and a business center, as well as logistics warehouses and other infrastructure. The project investor has confirmed the availability of $6 million in their accounts.
During the inspection, the minister issued a number of instructions regarding construction quality, compliance with safety requirements, and deadlines.
It is noted that the Ministry of Construction has issued a requirement to refrain from selling or advertising residential premises during the initial construction phase.
The developer has been instructed to begin selling apartments only after the buildings have been constructed to at least 3-4 floors.
The construction company has been instructed to ensure the completion of construction and installation work within the established timeframe, provide verified and transparent information on the project’s financial support, and ensure the authorized capital is in line with Kyrgyz law.
The ministry noted that these measures are aimed at protecting the interests of citizens, ensuring the financial sustainability of the project, reducing risks in the construction industry, and increasing the transparency of construction companies.
