E-commerce turnover in the EAEU increased by $110 billion at year-end 2024. Daniyar Imanaliev, Minister for Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission, told reporters.
According to him, this represents more than 17 percent of all retail trade in the union.
«We see great potential here, which is why the EEC Board is working to develop a regulatory framework for accounting for and regulating this sector both within the Customs Code and in domestic trade,» Daniyar Imanaliev said.
Signing of an agreement on a unified customs transit system, the launch of a navigation seal mechanism, and large-scale digitalization of processes within the EAEU were noted.
Imanaliev also added that 19 technological platforms have been developed to date, and their operation will be supported.
