The Immortal Regiment march dedicated to Victory Day has concluded in Bishkek. Tens of thousands of people took part in the procession.
Residents of Kyrgyzstan came out carrying portraits of their relatives and loved ones — veterans of the Great Patriotic War and home-front workers. Among the participants were MP Gulya Kozhokulova, businessman Askar Salymbekov, Colonel General Abdygul Chotbaev, and other well-known public figures.
The march started from the Southern Gates. The column moved along Abdrakhmanov Street and concluded with the laying of flowers at the Eternal Flame at Victory Square.
According to the organizers, the event took place peacefully and without incidents.
