Sadyr Japarov meets with SCO Defense Ministers

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov on April 28 received the heads of Defense Ministries of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, who arrived in Bishkek to participate in a meeting of Defense Ministers.

The head of state noted that Kyrgyzstan, as this year’s SCO chair, places special importance on developing practical cooperation in the defense sector. This includes joint military exercises, exchange of experience, and strengthened coordination between defense structures.

Sadyr Japarov expressed confidence that the agreements reached will contribute to strengthening cooperation and ensuring security across the SCO space.
