Bakhadyr Konurov, Deputy Chairperson of the Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic (CEC), has resigned. The CEC press service reported.
Bakhadyr Konurov left his position due to transfer to another position.
Akbalyk Zhumalieva, a member of the CEC, was elected as the new Deputy Chairperson. Her candidacy was unanimously supported by all members of the CEC.
