A storm warning has been issued in Kyrgyzstan for April 15–17, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reported.
Unstable weather conditions and heavy rains are expected across the country. As a result, there is a risk of mudflows in mountainous and foothill areas.
An increase in river water levels is also forecast.
Authorities are urging citizens to take safety precautions and avoid staying near riverbeds and other potentially hazardous areas.
