Kyrgyzstani Munarbek Seyitbek uulu wins tournament in Istanbul

Munarbek Seyitbek uulu, a member of Kyrgyzstan’s national boxing team, won the Ahmet Cömert Bosphorus International Boxing Tournament in Turkey. The tournament’s organizers announced.

The tournament took place from March 29 to April 5 in Istanbul. Munarbek Seyitbek uulu competed in the 60-kilogram weight class and confidently completed all stages.

In his opening bout, he defeated Uzbekistani Tilav Suponov, then defeated Australian Darcy O’Malley in the quarterfinals. In the semifinals, Munarbek Seyitbek uulu defeated German boxer Denis Bril 5-0.

In the final, Munarbek Seyitbek uulu faced Ukraine’s Ivan Zavadskiy and won by unanimous decision 5-0.
