Zhainak Ibragimov has been appointed Director of the National School-Lyceum of Innovative Technologies named after Aidarkan Moldokulov. The press service of the Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The decision was made following a competition.
He previously served as the deputy principal at this educational institution.
The school was founded in 1926 as the seven-year Tashtak secondary school, the first Kyrgyz-language school in Bishkek. In 2011, it was named after Aidarkan Moldokulov, a graduate of this school, a Doctor of Economics, and a Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In 2019, the institution was reorganized in accordance with a government decree.
The primary mission of the School-Lyceum is to educate and raise children capable of active intellectual work, to shape well-rounded and highly educated individuals, and to prepare them for creative and research activities in various fields of fundamental sciences, with proficiency in computer technologies.
