Erlist Akunbekov, Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan, Oksana Lut, Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, and Sergei Dankvert, Head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision met in Moscow.
According to the Cabinet of Ministers’ press service, the parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in the agro-industrial sector, confirming their strategic partnership and Kyrgyzstan’s interest in expanding exports of meat, dairy, processed, and fish products to the Russian market.
During the meeting, they also discussed the implementation of the action plan for developing cooperation in the agro-industrial sector, signed in December 2025, increasing the supply of breeding cattle from Russia to Kyrgyzstan, and developing cooperation in veterinary medicine, scientific research, and the exchange of experience.
The delivery of modern vaccines and the training of specialists jointly with Russian specialized institutes are planned.
The parties confirmed their readiness to further deepen cooperation and implement joint initiatives in the agricultural sector.
