According to the speaker, the Council was established in 2017 to unite efforts between the business sector, improve the investment climate, and support entrepreneurs. However, its work has effectively been suspended over the past three years.

«We have gathered to resume the Council’s activities and strengthen interaction between business and Parliament,» Marlen Mamataliev said.

He also recalled a recent presidential decree introducing a moratorium on business inspections, noting that the measure is aimed at reducing pressure on entrepreneurs, improving the business environment, and supporting investment.

During the meeting, participants discussed key sector challenges, including business protection, reducing administrative pressure, and expanding financial support.

Following the meeting, it was decided to activate the Council’s work on a permanent basis and to prepare legislative initiatives to improve the investment climate, as well as to support production and processing industries.
