Health Minister checks on condition of child attacked by dogs

On April 2, Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Health, Damir Osmonov, visited a child who had been admitted to the City Children’s Clinical Emergency Hospital with multiple injuries resulting from dog bites.

According to the Health Ministry, the patient was diagnosed with a moderate brain contusion, extensive head wounds with skin defects, multiple injuries to the torso and limbs, and traumatic shock.

Since admission, the child has been under constant medical supervision.

The minister emphasized that the child will receive comprehensive medical care until full recovery, and also expressed gratitude to law enforcement officers for their prompt actions and timely transportation of the child to the medical facility.
