Public transport drivers in Osh have begun serving passengers wearing a new uniform, the press service of City Hall reported.
The corresponding order was made by Mayor Zhanarbek Akayev.
The introduction of a uniform dress code is aimed at improving service standards and strengthening discipline among transport sector workers.
«Drivers’ appearance now conforms to a common standard, which should have a positive impact on the image of municipal transport,» the City Hall noted.
