A State Agency for Tourism Development under the Cabinet of Ministers has been established in Kyrgyzstan. The legal information portal Toktom reported, citing Presidential Decree No. 133 of March 31, 2026.
The new agency was created through the reorganization of relevant structures within the Ministry of Economy and Commerce. It is based on the now-abolished Department of Tourism.
As part of the reorganization, the composition of the National Council for Tourism Development in the Kyrgyz Republic has also been updated.
The presidential decree comes into force on the day of its official publication.
