Illegal land allocations have been uncovered in Sokuluk district, the prosecutor’s office reported.
According to the supervisory authority, an inspection revealed that in 2021, a land plot with a total area of 0.9 hectares, located in Semetey residential complex of Manas rural administration, was illegally transferred to 22 individuals for private ownership.
It is noted that the plot is classified as residential land, but the decisions regarding its distribution were made in violation of legal requirements.
Following the prosecutor’s response, the land plots, worth a total of 45,832,283 soms, were returned to state ownership.
The prosecutor’s office emphasized that work to identify similar land use violations is ongoing.
