Part of Bishkek to have no cold water on April 2

On April 2, drinking water supply to residential buildings, schools, preschool, healthcare facilities, and other social and industrial facilities will be suspended from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Bishkek City Hall reported.

Outage area:

• Ala-Archa River — railway line — Zhibek Zholu Avenue — Molodaya Gvardiya Boulevard;
• Molodaya Gvardiya Boulevard — railway line — Frunze Street — Manas Avenue;
• Deng Xiaoping Avenue — Ala-Archa River — Bokonbayev — Kuliev — Moskovskaya — Pishpekskaya — Fuchik — Kazakov Streets.

The outage is due to maintenance work on Zapad-2 water intake and the city’s water supply networks.

Bishkekvodokanal apologizes for the inconvenience and asks organizations and the public to stock up on drinking water in advance.
