Teenage driver dies in nighttime road accident in Bishkek, four injured

A teenage driver died in a nighttime road accident in Bishkek, and four other minors were hospitalized.

The traffic accident occurred late yesterday evening in the eastern part of the city on Valikhanov Street. According to patrol police, the driver of a Toyota Camry lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a truck.

Preliminary investigation found out that the car was traveling at high speed. There were five teenagers inside — three boys and two girls, aged 16 and 17.

Four passengers suffered injuries of varying severity and were taken to hospitals. The circumstances of the road accident are being investigated.
