Japarov convenes Security Council to discuss risks amid Middle East situation

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov held a working meeting with members of the Security Council.

During the meeting, issues related to ensuring national security, including in the food and energy sectors, were discussed amid the events in the Middle East.

Security Council members also discussed a list of the country’s strategic facilities and made corresponding recommendations.

Following the meeting, instructions were given to the heads of government agencies, presidential plenipotentiary representatives in the regions, and the mayors of Bishkek and Osh.
