Kyrgyzstanis involved in truck collision in Karelia, Russia

Citizens of Kyrgyzstan were involved in a road accident in the Republic of Karelia, Russia. The crash occurred at the 419th kilometer of Vologda—Medvezhyegorsk highway.

According to the State Traffic Inspectorate, a 28-year-old driver of a Honda Odyssey, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, failed to take into account road and weather conditions, lost control of the vehicle, and veered into the oncoming lane, where the car collided with a truck and trailer. The truck was driven by a 60-year-old man.

A female passenger, also a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, sustained injuries in the accident. Traffic police reported that she was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
