Athletes from Kyrgyzstan won two bronze medals at a Greco-Roman wrestling ranking tournament in Albania, the United World Wrestling (UWW) reported.
Razzak Beishekeev, in the 72-kilogram weight class, reached the semifinals, where he lost to an athlete from Iran. He defeated the representative of Kazakhstan in the bronze medal bout.
Uzur Dzhuzupbekov, in the 97-kilogram weight class, lost in the quarterfinals to a Russian, who advanced to the final, giving the Kyrgyzstani a chance to win a medal.
In the repechage tournament, Uzur Dzhuzupbekov defeated representatives of Azerbaijan and Iran and won a bronze medal.
