Kant Mayor Ulan Mailibashev resigns

Mayor of Kant town Ulan Mailibashev has resigned. The municipality confirmed this information.

According to town officials, he submitted his letter of resignation voluntarily. An acting mayor will be appointed after the necessary procedures are completed.

• On June 10, 2021, Ulan Mailibashev was elected mayor of Kant by the City Council.
• On April 2, 2024, he was reappointed to this position by presidential decree as part of the administrative-territorial reform.
