Deputies of the Zhogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of Kyrgyzstan have approved changes in the leadership of two parliamentary committees following a vote.
Suyunbek Omurzakov has been appointed chair of the Committee on Judicial and Legal Affairs, Law and Order, Combatting Crime and Corruption.
Gulkan Moldobekova has been named head of the Committee on Labor, Healthcare, Women’s Rights and Social Issues.
Earlier, letters of resignation were submitted by Bolotbek Borbiev and Gulsunkan Dzhunushalieva.
