Citizen of Kyrgyzstan accused of large-scale fraud extradited from Georgia

A wanted citizen, S.T., accused of large-scale fraud, has been extradited to Kyrgyzstan. The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reported.

According to it, the extradition was made possible thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic and competent Georgian authorities.

Upon arrival in the country, S.T. was placed in a pretrial detention facility, where procedural actions as part of the criminal prosecution continue.

The Prosecutor General’s Office notes that work to locate, detain, and extradite citizens hiding abroad from criminal liability is ongoing.
