Ministry of Transport: All passes opened, traffic restrictions lifted

As of December 25, Kyrgyzstan’s roads and mountain passes are open and traffic is operating as normal. There are no restrictions for heavy-duty vehicles. The press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications reported.

According to it, road maintenance personnel are constantly clearing the roadways and treating them with inert materials.

The ministry urged drivers to exercise caution when traveling through mountainous areas and passes, to replace summer tires with winter ones in advance, and to carry the necessary tools and equipment.
