Employees of the State Service on Drug Control, the Customs Service and the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of Kyrgyzstan stopped the activities of a transnational organized crime drug group. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
According to the ministry, the members of the criminal group had established a stable channel for the supply of drugs to Kyrgyzstan with their subsequent distribution throughout the country, as well as to the countries of Central Asia and the CIS.
Two active members of the drug group were detained later in Osh — Kyrgyzstani Z.A.S. and Russian A.M.A. The alleged organizer and curator of the criminal scheme, citizen of Uzbekistan T.K.T., was also detained.
During a search at two addresses in Osh region, two drug labs equipped with specialized equipment were discovered and liquidated. The activities of an online store were also stopped.
According to the conclusion of the forensic service, 2,858 grams of marijuana, 586,898 grams of mephedrone and more than 1.5 tons of precursors were seized from illegal circulation.
Investigative measures are ongoing.
