«Proper animal care and feeding play a vital role in livestock farming. The health, growth, and productivity of animals largely depend on the quality of the feed they consume. Therefore, it is essential to regularly provide animals with nutritious and high-quality feed.
It is recommended to revive forgotten and not used types of fodder. Especially beneficial for livestock are feeds rich in vitamins and nutrients that are easily digestible, such as silage and haylage. As a result of these efforts, the quality of livestock will improve, milk and meat production will increase, and this will significantly contribute to the country’s food security,» the statement says.
