The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev arrived in Washington (USA) to participate in the spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers will meet with the management of the World Bank and discuss its current projects in Kyrgyzstan. It is also planned to discuss the prospects for expanding cooperation and promoting the strategically important project for the construction of Kambarata HPP-1. Following the meetings, a number of bilateral agreements will be signed.
In addition, participation in a round table with members of the Kyrgyz-American Business Council — representatives of the U.S. business community is planned.
According to the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev will also hold a number of meetings with the leadership of leading American corporations to present the investment potential of Kyrgyzstan and discuss opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
The program of the working visit also includes meetings with representatives of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and the Global Partnership for Education (GPE).
