Bishkek to have its own plant nursery on area of about 100 hectares

A large nursery will appear in Bishkek. Mayor of the capital Aibek Dzhunushaliev visited the site where the process of its creation is underway jointly with Chinese investors from Qingdao.

According to the municipality, 12,300 tall tree seedlings, 9,000 shrubs and tree roots have been experimentally planted on an area of ​​more than 5 hectares.

The main types of planted tree and shrub seedlings are Norway maple, Chinese acacia, linden, white, begonia, Phnom Penh poplar, large-leaved poplar, red nana, Hokkaido poplar, beech and others.

The area of ​​the nursery will be about 100 hectares. The project is being implemented in order to plant tall trees in the capital in the future. The head of the city instructed Bishkekzelenstroy to adopt the experience of foreign specialists.
