A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between KyrgyzExport and the Association of Franchisors and Franchisees at the Central Asian Franchising & Business Expo in Bishkek.
The parties agreed to develop the export of not only goods, but also services, business models and franchises, which will create conditions for the growth of the share of small and medium businesses in the country’s economy.
«We promote products and now we will promote services. The project was supported by 13 exporters in entering foreign markets. The creative industry and local brands can scale up — we have to trade not only products, but also ideas,» the head of KyrgyzExport, Urmat Takirov, said.
According to the head of the Association of Franchisors and Franchisees, Saykal Asylbekova, more than 650 franchise outlets have been opened recently. KyrgyzExport already provides support in this area, and franchising is seen as an export of technologies and domestic brands.
The Central Asian Franchising & Business Expo is the largest event in the region in the field of franchising and business. It brings together investors, entrepreneurs and franchise owners. The platform is aimed at those who are looking for ways to scale up, launch a new business using a ready-made model or enter the markets of Central Asia.
